Welded Wire Mesh
Welded wire mesh
is made of selected quality iron wires through the process of
automation and sophisticated welding technique. The end product is
level and flat, sturdy structure, and even strength throughout, the
netting shows no signs of wear and tear when cutting off a part or
under a stress. |
 |
The
welded wire mesh is galvanised by hotdipping after welding, having
good corrosive resistance and qualities which are not usually found
in average wire mesh. |
Stainless Steel
Woven Wire Mesh
Material
for weaving stainless steel wire mesh ( wire cloth ) is divided into
Type 304, Type 304 L, Type 316 and Type 316 L.
Type 304
Often referred to
as"18-8"( 18% chromium, 8% nickel ) T-304 is the basic stainless
alloy mostly commonly |
 |
utilized for wire cloth
weaving. It withstands outdoor exposure without rusting and resists
oxidation at an elevated temperature up to 1400 Degrees Fahrenheit. |
Typical wire
cloth applications include use with chemicals, food products,
pharmaceuticals and exposure to moisture.
Type 304 L
Type 304 L is very
similar to T-304, the difference being the reduced carbon content
for better weaving and secondary welding characteristics.
Type 316
Stabilized by the
addition of 2% molybdenum, T-316 is an "18-8"alloy.
Type 316 has better
resistance to pitting corrosion than the other chromium-nickel
stainless steels where brines, sulphur-bearing water or halogen
salts, such as chlorides are present. A valuable property of T-316
is high creep strength at elevated temperatures. Other mechanical
properties and fabricating characteristics are similar to T-304.
Wire cloth woven of
T-316 has extensive use in chemical processing when better corrosion
resistance is required than the regular chromium-nickel types.
Type 316 L
Type 316 L is very
similar to T-316, the difference being the reduced carbon content
for better wire cloth weaving and secondary welding characteristics. |

Brass Woven Wire
Cloth
Material: Brass wire.
We may also offer copper wire and cloth woven of that.
Brass wire:
High brass (70% copper,
30% zinc) wire and low brass (80% copper, 20% zinc) wire have much
better abrasion resistance, better corrosion resistance and lower
electrical conductivity when compared to copper wire. |
 |
Brass
woven wire cloth is excellent for marine and out of door
applications because of its immunity to rust and salt solutions.
Brass wire mesh and cloth is an ideal mesh for fabricating gasoline
filters and baskets fro electro polishing. It possesses greater
strength than copper or bronze.
Copper wire cloth: The
primary usages of copper in wire cloth are in these applications
requiring corrosion resistance, electrical and thermal conductivity,
spark resistance and non-magnetic properties. Copper wire cloth
finds wide usage in traveling water screens, radio frequency
interference shielding, sugar and marine applications. |

Galvanized
square wire mesh
Galvanized
square wire mesh is manufactured in galvanized iron wire. We produce
square wire mesh from 2 mesh to 60 mesh per linear inch, 60-150cm in
width and 15-30.50 meters length. Any special size can be
manufactured as per specifications. Square wire mesh is mostly used
as mosquito net and industrial sieves in industries like sugar,
chemical, stone crusher etc. |

Aluminum and aluminum
alloys:
A unique combination of
properties makes aluminum one of our most versatile wire mesh
weaving materials. It is light in mass, yet some of its alloys have
strengths greater than that of |
structural steel. It has
high resistance to corrosion under the majority of service
conditions and no colored salts are formed to stain adjacent
surfaces or discolor products with which it comes to contact. |
A word of
caution should be mentioned in connection with the corrosion
resistant characteristics of aluminum. Direct contacts should be
avoided in the presence of an electrolyte; otherwise galvanic
corrosion of the aluminum may take place in the vicinity of the
contact area. Where other metals must be fastened to aluminum wire
cloth the use of a bituminous paint coating or insulating tape is
recommended.
Pure aluminum in the
woven form is typically used where its light weight and corrosion
resistance is more important than strength.

Hexagonal Wire
Netting
Hexagonal
wire netting is also known by the name of chicken mesh. Hex. wire
netting is manufactured in galvanized iron (GI) and galvanized iron
drawn (GID) wire in width of 45-180cm. Hexagonal wire netting is
mostly used as light fencing for poultry farms, birds cages, tennis
courts and light reinforcement in splinter proof glass and cement
concrete, plastering and laying of roads. Also used for insulation
in cold storage and AC plans. |

Weaving Types
Standard Weaves
Plain
Weave: This type is most commonly used. East warp wire passes
alternately over and under shutter wires at right angles, and vice
versa. Openings are square and wire sizes are the same in warp and
shutter. |
 |
 |
Twilled
Weave: This type is similiar to plain, except that shute wire pass
alternatively over and under two warp wires (instead of one) in a
staggered fashion. Very fine meshes can be woven more readily in
twilled weave than in plain. |
